Feature Requests
i dunno if you guys are taking feature requests but i'm gonna make a couple anyway, eventually someone will add my features to their frontend or i'll have to code my own
First of all ive got all of my cds ripped as ogg files to ensure they are gapless between tracks, so i was hoping for completly gapless play between audio files, and also some way of making sure that the files are in the correct order, i have a m3u in most directories so if the program could just read the playlist when loading a particular folder and put them in the correct order, or alternativly it could look at the track number in the audio file itself.
Secondly i would love to have the ability to add bass and treble up/down buttons to the player screen, this is one of the things i miss most since not having a head unit.
Thanks!!

Sorry i have'nt seen this thread..
As for now, the 07 beta is playing gapless between tracks on my system
For the playlist function, just wait a little ( )
For the bass / treble buttons, it's not difficult to make so when i have finished the new equalizer code i will add this

First of all i must say excellent work! This looks to be the most promising front end so far.
Just some feature requests:
1 Option to sort tracks by artist, genre, album etc.
2 Search for file by title or artist
3 Save custom presets in EQ
4 Access EQ in video module
5 Switch between day/night skin
With these features i think NMC would be the best front end out there

Thanks for your reply.
i see that it is possible to save EQ presets. I meant could you make it possible to save and also select presets in NMC, not only NM.
This would mean that you could adjust sound to suit a particular song or movie as you are listening to it and save it. Also if you wanted to switch between saved presets you could easily do it without adjusting each slider or going in to NM.
Thanks

Well, for one, the filesystem is the most efficient database... but really, there are pros and cons... i'm not sure i prefer a database... maybe it would be possible to keep it this way, but adding an index for searching/sorting... dunno if it would work out or not...
