The ability to play a DVD in Video mode.. The chapters would be accessed via the Track Forward and back buttons |<< >>|,
In video mode, pressing the Play button after pressing play before, will pause the video (I get a Winamp.dll error)
Virtual Mixing (like in Winamp)
--- Each Module would have an audio mixer for it. GPS, Video, Audio. That way, the audio for the audio or video module can fade down when the GPS is playing directions.
I know it's another but I can't remeber at the moment.

For album art, can the program just use any jpeg contained in that folder or using the one embedded in the mp3 file itself?

Maybe I don't get it, but wouldn't it be nice if you could select a directory (not a file) in the filelist (from a module), and press some 'OK' button, which would load that directory in the embedded filelist of that module?
Now I have to select a file in a directory to have it listed in the embedded filelist...
On the first blue request, I think it's a good idea. (in combination with mine,  )
on the second, do you mean settings would be saved for each module in the equalizer? (would it be possible to let the GPS sound pass through the equalizer?)
Keep up the very excellent work, I must say! (and DVD is a must, of course!)

Getting sound trough the equalizer for all modules is not easy  But i'll try (as always )

Better integration with:
- Destinator
- Phone Control
Ability to minimize applications running and then return to them (particularly useful for GPS while changing music, etc on route)
Support to burn playlists? Maybe through compatibility with DragonBTV's soon-to-come bruner?

This will be much easier to make once NCS (neocar scripting, a form of "programming into neocar") is implemented. Probably towards version 1 I believe....
In the meantime this is possible through use of plugins, being called, possibly from the main menu... Although it isnt the best solution, it is surely possible and very useable. It will be imporved when minimized app support is added...

Netsuo: Suggestion for external app mode... An option to definea an application as an "Audio Application"... this is useful for DVD players, TV plugins, FM plugins etc... this way audio is automatically stopped when they are in use...
Also an option when you press quit from an external app, to return to the previous module in use, not always to external app module?

Its aleady there... it evens resumes playing music for me.. There is an option in NM for that too
