Crictique A Noob's CarPC Set Up

I think I've got my shopping list for my CarPC all laid out but before I go out and start buying parts, I'd like to have it critiqued by the pros.

VoomPC-2 Case
Intel BLKD945BCLF2 motherboard
2GB DDR2 RAM
320GB HDD (x2)
Fusion Brain
3 axis Accelerometer
BU-353 GPS Receiver
HQCT 1.0 Radio Tuner
MJS-SC-C1 Sirius Adapter
Andrea Superbeam Array Mic
Sound Blaster X-fi Xtreme sound card
Bytecc USB Bluetooth adapter
slot load dvd/cd drive
media reader
Lulliput 629 7" LCD
USB Hub
CCD Infrared Camera (back up camera)

I'd also like 2 more cameras so I can record track racing footage. 1 to mount outside and one inside, any suggestions?

Any suggestions on the whole set up would be great.
Thanks!

Nice grocery list! Looking good...
Of course, I'm biased towards the Asus Xonar sound cards myself. Simply outstanding SQ!

Why 2 HDD?
Also, what consideration have you given to PSU's? I recommend Opus 320 always...

What about one of those cams in the front grill, maybe even near the chin?
And another behind the drivers side outside mirror?

Well they discontinued the OPUS 320, now they updated to OPUS 360, which I think is the same price. I agree with WuNgUn, you may want a big PSU with your setup. Im a X-Fi fan, and installed a 7.1 surround sound setup, to me it blows 5.1 away.

Maybe he has movies also? I decided to stream all my movies to my car to save HDD space.

Why didnt I see that part of your post. Use a Digital Quad Processor. I use that to attach 3 cameras to one screen. It has multiple view options and has a VCR port which I connected a capture card to. I did it to record my driving incase some dip sh!+ hits me and tries to lie. Im deleting all my mirrors so only cameras. If really all depends on the type of driving, if its only for day time, then simple cams will do. For night the rule is, get the cam with the most I/R bulbs.

Thanks guys.
I thought I posted the power supply but I am looking at the Opus 360.

The motorboard has a built in dual core 1.6GHZ processor. If a quad core would be better, can some recommend a good board that will support it?

I want dual HDDs just so I have tons of room for crap, I probably don't need it but I like over kill and HDDs are cheap these days.

Do I need a video card? That's the one thing I'm confused on.

For a front end I've been looking at Centrafuse.

If your thinking CF, then I might recommend Phidgets over Fusion Brain...Zorro has writen an awesome plugin for Phidgets...
PSU...good choice!
I think quad core would be overkill...dualcore is ample. Now when you say built it, does this mean it's not upgradeable?
HDD are cheap, yes, but running 2X basically increases your failure rate X2 in a car environment...not to mention the power draw...
Get a good 500 or 750GB drive...PLENTY of space...
I have almost 9000 songs, 95% of them are lossless, plus videos and DVD-A's and it only using less than 120GB...
