Newbie and these specs in mind

Hi all. Long time reader first time poster.
I have searched around the posts and have come up with these basics.

Power supply:M2-ATX
M/B: Foxconn 45CS Mini-ITX board with Intel Atom 230 single core
1gb RAM/ approx 80gb H/Drive
Lilliput GL-701 head unit (is this advisable? Any alternatives?).

I guess the only bit I'm not sure on is will the M2 have enough juice to power the board / cpu / hard drive and possibly the screen as well?

Thanks for any assistance all.

Jonathan

Hia.

I do not think that the M2 will have any problems powering what you have stated here... though, if you have many power hog of USB devices... you might run into a problem.

Regarding hardware choise... Not what I would have chosen, but everything is up to ones budget and build-plan.

The only opinion I have on the list you have given... I would recomend a SSD HD instead of a magnetic one.

Thanks Crinos.
Re the hardware, do you mean the Lilliput part or the M/Board?

Cheers

Actually... both...
Look at the Lilliput here... http://store.mp3car.com/Lilliput_GL7..._p/mon-020.htm
2 out of 3 say "do not buy".

Regarding the MB.
I have never ever had any experiance with Foxconn, and that is why I would have gone for something that is more known.
