About to buy my car pc

I'm finally about to give in and buy my carpc (after more than 4 years of lurking around these forums). I was just going to buy it and deal with the issues later but I may as well ask before I take the dive. Can anyone give me opinions on this setup.

PC - http://cgi.ebay.com/Complete-Mini-IT...3%3A1|294%3A50

Screen - http://cgi.ebay.com/Double-DIN-Lilli...742.m153.l1262

From my understanding this is a full carpc setup. the only thing I would have to do is run power from my battery and connect it to my car's radio.

just in case you didn't notice, make sure to check out the optional components (the OS and frontend are not included).

Also keep in mind, the D945GCLF2 is going EOL near the end of this year, perhaps look into getting a D945GCLF2D based pc if you can?

Otherwise though, mocoso is a reputable seller and the dual core atm is a solid board.

+1 for mocoso. I have that exact screen from them. If you don't mind opening up the screen yourself and want to save a couple of dollars: http://www.bybyte.com/images/ABS626-...structions.pdf

I have opened lcd screens before when I was building a projector but here it's only like $50 so buy everything already set up so I think I will just take the easy way out.

Btw do you have any pics of how the screen looks in your car?
