Question H3 Proposed Setup

Shopping List is ready....

Power m4-ATX $89.99
Front-End b/w Centrafuse and RR
GPS Software Iguidance ** $99.00 (PC version software only)
GPS H/w BU-353 Weather-proof GPS Receiver $36.00
Sirius H/w
Tuner SCC1 SiriusConnect™ Universal Vehicle Tuner $49.99
Adapter SC-C1 USB Interface for Sirius $65.00
Mother Board Zotac IONITX-B-E Intel Atom Nvidia ION Mini ITX MB $139.99
Ram - ddr2 $60
HDD Seagate ST9320423AS Mobile - 320GB, 2.5", 7200 RPM, SATA $69.99
Amp 4CH 400 WATT AMPLIFIER AMP AMPS FOR MP3 CAR MOTORCYCLE $35.00
Screen Lilliput EBY701 $240.00 (This is from bybyte w/it presinstalled in a bezzle)
FM Modulator Visteon HDZ300 HD Radio $122.99
Fm Adapter HDR-RS232 $24.25

I think I have thought this through...anything I am missing?
A few things that I am still pondering:
The amp for the speakers....I am trying to find one that will ship from the US.

The screen...
The modified screen from bybyte looks as if it has rca jacks plugged into the VGA input, I would rather use a vga/vga cable...can this adapter be removed?
Would I be better buying an lcd and modding it myself and creating my own bezzle for it? (I am pretty handy)

Just a rough guestamite....what guage wire would you run for this? I was thinking 8awg.

Is my DC-DC inverter enough/too much?

That HD Radio unit is NOT an FM Modulator. It is an FM/HD Radio receiver. Big difference.
I think you know that already based on the other hardware you have spec'd, namely the amplifier.

Also, you have two devices that require audio input to the PC, the Sirius radio and the HD radio.
You will need a device and a plan to switch audio inputs, both hardware and software.

Lastly, a DC-DC PSU is not an inverter, technically. With DC to DC, there's nothing to invert.

You never found that link, did you? Why? It's hard to find in the NavBar across the top of the forums, amongst a lot of other crap.

TELL MP3CAR YOU WANT A LINK TO THE FAQ IN A MORE OBVIOUS, NOTICABLE LOCATION HERE.

Would a usb sound card (as a 2nd audio device) do the trick...just point the app to that device for that plugin?

Many thanks!!
