accord '04 wiring help

i know this is a site for audio and video stuff but i wanted to install, just as a simple project, some led's or something in the footwell and i dont know where to tap the power from and stuff, so i figured it would be along the same lines as a audio or video unit mod. If anyone has done this or just knows where i can find the wires to do it in the car that would be great. thanks

If you mean powering it, then sorta.

Look for a wiring diagram specific to your car. That is where you can find +12v constant and +12v switched. Ground is all the metal in your car.

LED's need like 2v. Your car gives 12. You need something inbetween. Also, if the LED is the only load on the circuit, it wont be bright for very long. It will burn out. You need something to control that. Both can be done with a simple device that transfers the electronic gnomes to magical heat waves.

And the super-brights are like 5v. But the 3mm bulbs are usually pretty low, and will work on a range. Either way the magic mystery part behind door #3 is what you need.

I have an 03 accord our power supply is located in the same spot since we both have a 7th gen. If you look underneath your steering wheel on the floorboard to the left you will see a panel. Pull that panel out. After you slide it out you will see a bunch of fuses. Find a fuse that isnt being used. If you are driving a coupe plug it into back power windows.
If you have any problems feel free to PM me.

my main question is how much power will you need. Usually its a better idea to run a new power cable straight from the battery to you interior then tap off that for your POWER needs.
Also a switch will not "regulate" your voltage of power from 12v.
