Question via c7 2g or core2duo

Hi Guys

I am looking into a car pc project for my 06 passat b6 and thinking of building my own itx based system.

I first thought about going for the epia via c7 2gb with 512mb pc4200 memory.

Will this be fast emough for roadrunner, gps, blutooth phone control? I mean I might not use roadrunner as my hu will offer most radio/cd/dvd functions and just use windows xp with map monkey and phonecontroll.net.

As I have found going the core2duo route the motherboard can cost well over £200 (uk) and £130 cpu ouch!

Well I would not go for a 1g c7 when a 2g c7 is about $35 more expensive. I earn more than that an hour!

Mind you I have seen this motherbhoard in the uk for £150 ish but its quite rare
