Can a Lilliput display a native (800x480) resolution?

I'm putting together a carputer system and am looking to purchase one of the Transflective screens available from MP3car. My question is, can it display a 800x480 native resolution? I have a Via Epia EX15000G, and I know that Via's S3 chip can't display an 800x480 resolution from within Windows. However, if I get a PCI video card, I've heard that I can set it up to display it natively at 800x480. So I guess my real question is whether or not I will be able to display a native resolution to a Lilliput. I hope that the problem with the resolution is with the Via integrated graphics, not the Lilliput. Am I correct in my thinking?

Yea the problem is with the integrated graphics.... I got VIA to make a new bios for my CN-13000 that supported 800x480. I contacted them using this form:
http://www.via.com.tw/en/products/ma...ds/contact.jsp

Worth your while trying to do the same for your board-may as well use the onboard graphics if you can, as against buying a pci card and fitting it in your case

By all means post that BIOS up! The BIOS's should pretty much be the same. I am sure this magic bios you have will be revered by many.

The bios for my cn-7000 based board has an option for LCD (800x480), my problem is that my Lilliput shows up in WinXP as "Default Monitor" which seems to trigger the BIOS to disable LCD and switch back to CRT. Irritating.

You can find the BIOS on VIA's site under the downloads section for the CN13000G. Also here's the thread that kftqq posted the BIOS in: Epia CN13000 800x480 working!!!

Is that a problem with all motherboards or just EX15000G ?

I'm too, looking for this MB because of sound, but would reconsider if thats an issue with this specific model..
