Heya guys! Another Noobie question coming your way!!
OK i have a Gift Certificate for Borders book store...
My question is, Which is better? Car Pc Hacks or Build your Own Car PC.
I know one is older then then other - and being "cutting edge" type stuff - i want to make sure i get the right book or at least a decent book to help the cause...
any suggestions? Does anyone own both - and want to tell me which one is more helpful
If you already found this forum, you don't need another book. Stick around search and read. There will be more than enought information to get you going. Save the money for couple cups of coffee to keep you awake instead. If you don't drink coffee, you can always UPS it to me. I wouldn't say no to coffee
yeah, I remember when i would spend hours & hours reading books & magazines... now I just spend hours & hours staring at my laptop screen
both of those books are ok to get your feet wet in a structured format, then, when you have the basics down, you can learn everything you'd ever need to know here, or like matrix said, savew the money & head on over to the faq's & start reading

Yah.. i have basic PC building and car audio know how (Used to have firebird with 3 jl 10w6's old school punch 150 for each.. infinity ref. series highs.. polk mids.. etc.. now i am working with 2 solobarics l7..)
You guys know how it is... never can know enough about this or that... plus. i have a borders gift card lol.
