You will be able to get a 'copycat' screen off the onboard video card. If you want the multitasking screen like you explained you will need to buy a PCI video card that supports dual output. If you want both of these screens to be touchscreen its more complicated again same too for smooth front end integration on each screen. This is much more complicated then just plugging in two monitors.

The board doesn't come with a PCI video card, its just onboard. You can overwrite it by adding a video card into the free PCI slot that it gives. Though after I did a quick search I could only find PCI 2.2 cards with single video channel. PCI express is needed for the dual video.

What I would do in your situation is run a second computer off your psu and run a touchscreen (or touchpad, trackball etc) for control. This will be much easier for you then trying to juggle the software between screens. The type of computer im talking about is those very low power, cheap solid state ones... like these.

Also, please understand that when you add a PCI video card, your AMpie/Voom case becomes useless, as it is too small to allow for any expansion cards.

There are also USB video adapters, but I'd think they would drag the PC performance down too far to be usable, particularly with the lower-power system you're purchasing. I could be wrong, though.
If they're cheap enough, you might consider buying one just to try it and see if you can achieve the results you want.

It does come with the m2-atx which has shutdown/startup controlling. It also give you an option for a dvd/rw addition for +$90. So make that $250 mroe then the mp3car one. This seams the cheapest and easiest option for dual video.

Have you considered getting a roof mounted DVD player instead of another computer. You'll be able to watch movies in the back and have your computer screen in the front. Drawback is you won;t be able to watch movies off your hard drive.....

Also...

The xenarc 700 TSV touchscreen talks about multimonitor touchscreen support. quote: "You can connect several 700TSV monitors to your computer and the touchscreens would work simultaneously through the multi-monitor support"

I'm not sure if this means you can run them independantly. might be worth a look......?
