Newb to CarPC

First off Hi to everyone you have a great site here
Second i seem to keep finding stuff that contradicts itself so i would like to ask a few questions and maybe get some answers from everyone and maybe even opinions.
1st) Would i be able to intergrate my headunit into the CarPC and keep it an active part of the car?
2nd) Is it possible for me to get rid of the heating controls and control them through the CarPC?
3rd) Would installing a second battery to the car help with keeping the car from dieing?
4th) Is there a possible way of using a PDA to control the car and the CarPC

thanks in advance

1 - Yes.
2 - Yes.
3 - There are a lot of variables involved. In most cases, an extra battery is not necessary.
4 - A PDA can control the PC, sure. Not sure what you mean by "control the car".

Here's an excellent place to start researching your project:http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/advfaq.php

If you can afford to lose your heating when Windows crashes, then sure, why not

I dont mind it losing my heating if and when windows crashes
By controlling the car by the PDA i meant being able to turn windows up and down and switching lights on and off and maybe even switching on the car itself. How would i go about intergrating the Headunit into the CarPC?
