Yes Its The New Guy With Some Wire ?'s

Well here goes the 1st post...

Im by no means new to computers however I am new to Audio and hooking that kinda stuff up.

Basically once I modify my bezel on my 03 Focus I can mount the touch screen but in the mean time I am lookin to gather all the software I need and look for wiring diagrams to hookup my touch screen power and puter power. I purchased a DC to DC power supply from mp3.com and also need a diagram on how to hook up the puter to my audiobahn a5100t. If anyone has any pics on how to hook this all up I would love you forever!

Also a list of software I should look for would be awesome!

Thanks soo much in advance.

Hi and

There is a great FAQ section on these forums. You will find lots of answers there. No spoon feeding allowed!

and the forum's FAQ's are your friend.

As for a list of software, you should look in the categories for:
Navigation (iGuidance, MapMonkey, Mappoint, Streets and Trips, Destinator, ect...)
Frontend (RoadRunner , $treetdeck, Centrafuse, FrodoPlayer, Amp, and lots lots more)
OS (XP, OSX, Various Linux distros)
Addins/Other (Phoco, NetStumbler, Winamp Sound plugins, TinyXP, ect...)

Personally I like the Roadrunner, Winamp 2.95, iGuidance, XP Pro combo.

You got questions, we got answers! in the FAQ section. We probably know the answer too, but are too lazy to spoon feed anymore. This baby is grown and can feed it self.

Welcome to the forums!! Good Luck.

I actually worked for RatShack, and the store I worked at had the largest electronic parts area (the drawers with resistors and transistors and power connector stuff), so we would get all sorts of people just needing to pick up a part. And like me now when I go into a Radioshack and they ask the required "you need any help" I just think to myself "you cant help me you fool!" . But when I asked I would sometimes get the guy who would say, I need to make a 7.6v regulator to drive blah, and he would give me that grin of like "you sure you can help me now" and I would tell him how to hook up the 7805 with the correct resistor values and their jaw would drop! . That was my favourite part of the job.

Yah i hate that. Every time i go into radio shack they ask me if i need any help. You would think after all the times ive gone in there they would know to not ask anymore. They can never answer my questions. I've got a couple other local electronics stores that might have the answer and lately i tend to go there first.

I told the guy at radioshack that i needed parts for my carputer. I think i lost him as soon as i said that. Oh well.
