Does this speaker config sound likely

Hi,
I'm wiring up my 4 channel amp and I am using the factory wiring to the existing six speaker system. I am using the existing plug that connected my factory radio/cd player into the cars electrical system. As far as I can tell I only have the wires required to connect 4 of the speakers at the plug. My question is, is it possible that my 2 tweaters are connected via the 2 front speakers or should there be seperate connections for them at the plug because I can't see them?

I've used a 9volt baterry to identify the wires, but I can't hear the tweeters popping.

As always your help is much appreciated.

there is likely to be some sort of crossover located inside the door, the tweeter will be wired in parallel to the "woofer" in the door... this is VERY common.
