Another Newbie-Clarion DXZ265
This is a pretty cool site, thanks for having me!
Also, thanks in advance to any and all who participate in making our audio nightmares manageable...You guys are life savers!
-Clarion DXZ265
-all wires are ran correctly(according to my manual)
-4 speakers in the car work fine(2 front 2 rear from head unit)
-amplifier in the trunk has power and worked prior to this head unit
my subs currently do not work. i have an "amp cancel" option and when i turn the amp cancel on i have no sound in the car or trunk. the wiring & color codes are the same as most other head units i have installed. but on this one i have the following "extra" wires
-brown not used
-orange w/stripe not used
-blue not used
-blue w/stripe used for my remote turn on for the amp
i have swapped the remote wire from every power source i could find in the car but still no luck?....Any suggestions? What am i missing?
