How do I ground my M2-ATX?

I've got a short 8awg wire going from neg on battery to the chassis, is that it? I'm sure I need to run a wire from the M2 to the chassis also, which plug do I go off?

Also:

M2-ATX, how do I make it so I can manually turn it on and off? I'm leaving tomorrow on a camping vacation and haven't the time to wire in and automatic on and off via an ignition.

Check the manual.
3 wires, positive, negative, and remote on.

1 Positive = battery power
2 Negative = negative battery
3 Remote-on = Ignition switch.

I think running the wires correctly instead of rigging it will take just as long.
I don't recommend rushing it. I'd do it after the camping trip, and take your time. (lest you fry something)

IE: Do not run a negative wire from the negative to the chassis on the M2-ATX.

Why don't you want to run the negative of the M2-ATX to the car chassis? Isn't that the same as routing it back to the battery?
