record a track with iguidance

My friend recently purchased Iguidance v4 and installed it on his laptop. It is basically the same program that I have on my Intellinav 2 gps, except it has record a track. I recently borrowed his laptop and recorded a track with it. My question is can you save that track as a route with street names, turns and TTS. I know a short cut to avoid heavy traffic in my area and I tried to explain it to my husband, but it uses many back roads and there are a lot of twists and turns. It would be so easy just to be able to record my drive and then let him just follow my route. I hope I am explaining myself correctly. Also, could I possibly do that on my Intellinav 2 gps. TIA

Unfortunately you can record and playback the track but you cannot set it as a route. Great idea though!

The only way around this would be to set waypoints at each turn that way the Nav would have to follow the route you want. It's a pain to do it this way though. Good luck!

Thanks for your quick reply. Does anyone know of a mapping program or gps that can record your own route that you are driving and save it so it can be used later on? TIA
