Carnetix Buzz

Hello,

I am installing a carnetix 2140 regulator in my car pc setup. I tried to connect it to the same fuse that my headlights are on. This way, the power will stay on for 30 seconds after I remove my key from the ignition.

The problem that I have is that there is a buzz coming from the regulator itself when the power is off. When the regulator gets the ignition signal, the noise goes away. Is it draining battery power when the car is off? Is there a way for me to get rid of the buzz.

I have also had it connected directly to my cigarette lighter, and have the same issue, buzzes unless it's on. But at least with the cigarette lighter, it doesn't buzz unless the car is on.
