Shuttle FV25

I've got a Shuttle FV25 with PIII 1kMhz and 320 gig of HD. Should I scrap the FV25 and start over? I've searched; it's OLD and some have had boards take a dump on em but other than that, any advice?

keep the hard drive
sell the rest for whatever u can
got a job? if not get one
use funds from old parts + wage/savings to buy a funkeh nuu system

alternativley, squeeze the system into a smaller space you can, buy a touchscreen and bam youve got an entry level carpc on wich to devote countless man hours developing your skills in car pc'ing or general computer stuffs, whatever tickles your fancy really

All the best

What do you plan on using the carputer for? If you just want to play music, that setup will be fine.

From my other post:
Quote:
I'm wanting to carputer my Duramax with a modest sound quality set up. One 10" sub, two 7" Dynaudio mids and some compression horns for the top end. I'd like the display to occupy the factory dash location with the usual XM, FM, Nav, MP3, DVD, HDTV and the biggest goal of all, digital guages. I want to be able to monitor my turbo boost, exhaust gas temp and rear diff temp. I'd also like to be able to use my factory steering wheel controls as well (at least for the volume and seek).
