Hmmm, not a newbie to forums? How is this site related to auto window regulator repairs? I don't get it.
Maybe you should post this on an GMC forum????

Anyhow:
1. remove the door panel
2. remove the regulator
3. install new regulator.
4. test new regulator
5. install door panel.

Yeah I know, wise guy....
1. post on a related forum
2. If you MUST ask this here, then maybe be more specific.
Like: have you removed the door panel? What is the specific problem? What part can't you remove?

So I got in the cab, and asked the cabbie to take me to a strip club, so he did, but when I looked out and saw it said "Male Review", somehow, I knew I was in the wrong forum.
People just dont read. Don't take it personally though, you're not alone.

I'd help, but my service manuals just don't go back that far.

Looking elsewhere is probably a good idea if you want the information.

When a noob comes and starts asking questions that are completely unrelated to the forum's focus, why should there be any warm fuzzy response?

Honestly...
Do you just go to the first hit that Google gives you and ask your question?
Most logical thinking people would look to see if the forums that Google returns are even related to what you ask.

Come on, people. Use those neurons! Fire those synapses! That's the whole reason they're in that lump of gray matter inside your skull!

well, now this thread comes up on google
on the 2nd page for "remove replace window regulator GMC pickup"
Provides insight into some the reasoning behind responsible forum use.

Then again the offenders obviously don't usually realize the benefit of forums as REFERENCES. So that wouldn't matter to them
