needs to boot faster!!

Ok this is the carpc I have:

Specs:

Intel 933Mhz PIII Processor
256mb Ram
20 GB UltraATA Hard Drive
SlimLine CD-ROM Drive

Right now it is running nLited windows 2000. I have my FE set as the shell and it still boots up in a long 1minute 33 seconds. Is there anyway I can make this thing boot up any faster??

Upgrade to XP and use hibernate? Should take about 30 secs.

upgrading to XP really does save boot up time?

And hibernate is not an option, this setup is already hooked up. I don't want to have to hook it up to acc.

Yea unfortunately, upgrading to XP with hibernate is your best option. Ive played around with windows 2000 and the boot speeds seem much worse than XP.

XP is far faster than 2K. and if you use HORM, you'll be fine.

ok. Well I am getting a newer laptop with XP on it, so hopefully that will boot faster. Isn't there ways to lite XP and make it even faster?

Ok I put windows XP on it. The only problem is, I cant find any video drivers for windows XP that will work. I know other people on here have this same PC and they have sucessfully put windows XP on it. So maybe one of them could come and share where they got there display drivers from
