Just saying hello...been lurking for a few days now after looking over a friends system online.

This is definitely interesting stuff you guys have done here, and I'm excited to read more. Not sure if I plan on going full force, might just hook my laptop up from time to time for road trips, but I'm very curious about the different software available for this type of thing.

I'm an old head; these bright young chaps do some pretty awesome stuff all right.
I suspect that they have the time to spend...

I currently have installed a desktop pc using a 12volt dc to 120volt ac inverter. So far, it's easier on this old fellow than all of the miniature systems that you see.

In dash screens are very nice, but my vision isn't so good. I am going with a 10" vga non touchscreen, mounted on a flexible gooseneck...

Carputing's quite the kick.
