Question Another Newb here....

Hey everyone,

I am a newbie to the whole CarPC but I'm not new to computers though. My friend is the Car Audio person so if I sound dumb it is most likely because I just don't understand that part yet.

Today my friend showed me the Kenwood KOS-V500 and I really liked it. The only thing is that I cant really modify it like I would like to. The unit is very limited and I would just like to build my own in the first place.

I'm wanting the following features:
  1. Wireless - to hookup to my home network
  2. Small 40GB Hard drive - I have an external HD that I can hookup with all of my music.
  3. A decent Processor & Motherboard - I've heard a lot of people talk about the M2.
  4. FM Adapter
  5. Touchscreen
  6. GPS
  7. OS - Which i have a copy of XP already for it
  8. Media Program - Looked at Froto Player

Anyone that can help me, I would greatly appreciate it.

Here are some pics of my car!! Click Here

Thanks,
QWERTYtech

there are plenty of topics that cover everything you are wondering. You just gotta do some searching...Only word of advice, try to do it right the first time. Buy quality parts, which will usually be more expensive, and take advice from seasoned members
