advice on system requirements

Hi, Im new to this car PC scene (hence being in the newbie section ).

Im looking to install a pc into my Honda Civic Type R. Ill be going for the VGA touch screen slotted into the Double Din Dash Part, BUT thats the only thing I know that I want?!?!?
So heres where you guys come in, hopefully you guys can come up with a spec of PC that would suit my needs.

Im looking for the PC to hold and play all my music and maybe a couple of videos, so I would imagine a 80 GIG hard drive would be more than enough for this. I would also like the PC to be able to hook up to my ECU and do a diagnostics check (and to show whats happening under the bonnet LIVE). Also the PC would have to have SAT NAV (obviously extra things need to be bought for this, reciever etc).

It needs to be able to run the sat nav AND play the music at the same time.

Oh, and all the equipment needs to fit into the glove box.

Is there any reasonably cheap packages on mp3car that suit my criteria??

Thanks for any help in advance.

Because of the nature of this hobby, only you can really size your system requirements.

I suggest you go thru the FAQs, worklogs, and the show off your projects forum. I'm sure you'll get tons of install ideas and info on components people are using.

I know I did.

Welcome.
