You said that you know for a fact that the dongle supports multi connections.. did you try that?

do you have the "Bluetooth Places" icon in your "My Computer" ? If so, what kind of services do you have under your phone's profile when you open bluetooth places?

do you have audio gateway beside Dial up networking?

if all true, first try to connect mannually through the audio gateway button just to make sure that it is setup properly.

Correct. The blutooth audio gateway connects the second that the blutooth on the phone is activated or once in range.

Dial up networking is setup to activate and ial once a connection to the internet is requested, and does so just fine.

And actually, the blutooth serial port connects to the blutooth gps device once the guidance software requests a connection.

Here is the thing though, if i just use the widcomm utility, i can get the audio from the other person on the phone through the speakers. What setting controls this in Freefone? I would pay to get this working. Heh. Payphone

I am using an HTC Hermes (8525).

Any ideas? Sorry it took so long to reply

well am not sure if there is much i can help you with but here is what i know:

FreeFone hos nothing to do with the audio connection so if your phone connects to freefone and you can see your contact list in freefone and dial from it then thats all what freefone is meant to do.

know as for the utility, did it ever connect to your phone (even without the poll thing ... just by clecking connect)?

if you did then everything should be working just fine for you

keep in mind that the utility is meant to connect instantly after startup and stay that way even if you dont use freefone.

Thank you for the reply.

It does in fact auto connect to the phone when started up via the interface in dfx 3.0 after configuring the port in the ini file. It will not however pull up the contacts. Actually, i have enabled bluetooth sim sharing in the phone, it was a utility added on in one of the roms from XDA

What other configs can you make in the ini file?

i think you need to set (phonebook=false) in the ini because true value will try to use a phonebook.txt on your pc. if that is false then FF should look for the phonebook on ur phone
