Hi, just introducing myself here. I'm currently in college studying mechnical engineering. I am both an avid computer and car enthusiast. I have been working with computers since middle school, also been working on my cars since the beginning of high school. Recently I have been getting into case modding and specialized builds. I also have a 1996 Ford Escort I am customizing. I've been debating for a while on bringing the two hobbies together figure I might as well go ahead and do it.
I'll be posting a worklog soon for my Escort carPC. Right now I'm just in the planning stages. I'm planning to start testing some functions with an older laptop of mine then purchasing a miniITX board for installation in the car. I will probably work on the project in a number of stages ultimately planning to outright replace my headunit with a computer after I redo my custom audio setup in the car.
