Think its a good deal? I am really new to this, and I only have a budget of like 500.00 max after I buy the screen. I also have a home pc that I thought about turning into a carputer its a cheap dell with a celeron processor. Thanks for any replies.

It looks like a decent build. Not bad for the money i guess. remember though, you still have to get software with your budget...

Chris is a good guy. He'll take care of you. That's the exact system I started with. Mine has "matured" a bit, but the base unit is still there and running great. I posted a review of that system here...
