NX15000G Sound question

Hello,
I am going to use this EPIA board for my project. My problem I have is this does not have sound inputs just pinouts. How do I connect a non factory surround system to this? I cannot find a case that will work with this because of this sound issue. Please help me out in this issue so I can work on my project.

Hey Cobra - Welcome!

First, look at the top of this screen for FAQ's. Really make the effort and take some time to read them over. You will learn a lot, and many questions will be answered. I wasted a lot of paper in the early days, and printed out FAQ's to read as I lay in bed for the night. I wanted to let my brain work on the carpc thing while I slept...

I just looked up your mobo on mp3car store:
http://store.mp3car.com/ProductDetai...Show=TechSpecs

It has onboard audio. You're right, it does not have audio inputs, but one way for it to do your audio:

>Rip your cd's onto your hd. I ripped over 300 of mine "losslessly" using WMP, .wav file format. Sounds really nice. I use a 320 gb hd in order to fit LOTS of cd's at high bit rate/size...

I personally have no use for sat radio or radio of any kind, but you can find usb connected radio systems for your carpc. Ask around on here, also do some SEARCHes to find specifically what you need.

Suggestion: take your time and read over lots of posts. There is priceless information here...

Remember that the audio output jack on your EPIA board (1/8" stereo) can be converted to RCA connectors easily with patch cords/adapter plugs. I bought a Griffin Power Mate from mp3car store to control volume levels, and to mute/switch music tracks. For a great selection of cables, connectors:

Cobra,

Whoops, I may have given some decent general advice last post, but about your EPIA, I was dead wrong. I looked at the board and do not see audio output or mouse/kbd inputs, video, either. Ask some questions out there to find out how you connect all those things...

Sorry. Best of luck and blessings!
