New here, just checking in to interduce myself

Hi my name is Mark A. Brooks, i’m an all around guy, I do a lot of this and a little of that, but I do all of it pretty darn well. I’m a sponge for info. In my free time all I do is research on all the forums and the internet for the latest and greats new high end mobile audio gear. I buy more products then I could ever use just to test or to say I have it (Ok that one is not so good, just ask my wife ). You can never have too much knowledge. I love cars, I don’t see makes and models when I look at a car all I see is what I can do the improve it. I don’t car if it is a Benz or a darn Yugo, I just don’t get caught up in the type of car it is.

From July 1990 up until October 1999 I spent in the US Army as a Network Security Specialist/Computer Field engineer/OPSEC/COMSEC Specialist. In my tour in Panama City, Panama is when I really was infected about the bug. I was always playing around with putting head unit in, but nothing crazy. This is where I enjoyed my first IASCA SQ competition and I have been hook ever since. I Then move to Miami along with the Southern Command and start to work for Circuit City part time are I finished work at the base. Built a couple cars and did some local show and meet some of the great guys in the industry I know now. After a service was up I move back to Georgia and got back into the computer field and went to as many IASCA show as I could and meet and work with some the greats and learn a ton from them. After two so years of being back home in Georgia the better half want to move back home ( her home) Miami so we did and I decided not to get back in the computer field well not working for a company anyway. So I start a small computer repair/ Networking company and did 90% of my work at night so I start working with a friend of mine at a shop here in Miami. After about a year of working there my friend quit, because he just couldn’t take the bull any longer. I work for the guy for around a year and a half, but his focus and my focus just wasn’t the same. I was looking to do high end install and he just want to put pre-fab box in and do alarms. So one night my friend came buy and said “Mark I know you have want to start a business for a long time now. If you want to do it I’m in. I say “If you are for real it’s done.” So here we are Audio By Design.

This is a great site and I looking forward to you guys help me get the ultimate car processor for my plan project now that I have sometime to build something for myself.
