Is there a OBDII to pc interface available for Mac?
I'm looking to implement a OBDII cabling to USB or firewire, to do engine management and tuning as well as monitoring. Has anyone come accross the cabling and software to do this, either MAC or Windows?
The cabling isn't an issue. A USB OBDII module should interface w/ any OS.
Now software is another story. I don't know what OBD software there is for Mac. Hopefully someone else can assist you with that part of the equation.
Thank you for responding.
Can you tell me, where I should look for this USB OBDII module?
This would start me on the road. From there I could go either with windows or OSX.
I guess you are correct I've been researching all day and there are not even betas that are working yet.
i did find a comparison chart of 4 OBDII readers and It seems the scantool is the best bang for buck. Any body here useing this one from auto enginuity?
