no, your motherboard already has two onboard SATA ports. see #10 in the pic below



you never said what kind of HDD you have (you only mentioned the brand name). if it is SATA then you may need a PATA (4-pin molex) > SATA (15-pin) adapter for the HDD's power input. your motherboard, PSU, or HDD probably came with one, it will look like this:
