Evlo is an unknown quantity at this point
ibus and tape input and next and prev. buttons

Problem: when i use tape input and ibus to control my software when i press next or previous buttons on steering wheel or boardmonitor it switches to next song in software ok, but start reving the tape in tape drive and make noise because of it.

Can i make trigger when a software receive "next"(or fast forward) or "previous"(or rewind) command from ibus then it sends "play" command to ibus which should make tape dirve to play in normal speed and don't make noise?

Anyone allready tried this?

Is there some other way to stop tape drive make rev. noise when i use tape input as audio source?
