Please Use Descriptive Thread Titles

All.

I havent seen anything that is too bad yet, but I have a feeling that this situation may deteriorate sometime in the future. And Im not singling anyone out yet

All I want to say is for anyone posting a new thread, please give it a descriptive title. It is much better for the people responding when they see a descriptive title, as they will most likely seek out topics they know a lot about.

Titles like "will this work?" or "is this good?" or "can i use this" are pretty hard sift through.

Also, within the body of a message please provide model numbers and brands of items you are looking at. There are usually many specific models of products and when we dont know what you are looking at it is hard to help you.

If the admins feel the need, can this be made a sticky thread.

Thanks
~Mike

I feel you man I've posted similar thread in suggestions and got kind of flamed on so I gave up a long time ago. My biggest gribe was that I had to do a search just to understand what the poster was trying to say. The guy who flamed me told me that I have to search. I told him that it's bullcrap that I have to do the search for them. anyway I second that idea.

i believe you can go and edit you original thread and change the thread title there. i could be wrong however.

a "sticky thread" is one that is always at the top of the list. so it is the first one people see when they scan the list of new threads.

yes, you can delete a post. only if you are the original author (or an admin).

go to the original post, and click edit. from there you should be able to select a button that offers you the option to delete the thread. all of the replies will be deleted as well.

crappy.. i just checked out my explaination... and apparently, that option is gone!!!!
