so there can be some spelling misstakes

so to the question

is it possible to have Gps on one screen and see a movie on another screen ??

(Gps in the frontseat and movie in the backseat)?

and can i controll the movie from the front seat with any program ?

if not i´m open for sugestions

Yes it is possible. I do it with Radeon video card connected to a monitor and a projector. The monitor is primary and the projector is secondary display. In the Display Properties->Settings->Advanced->Overlay->Clone mode is set to Theater Mode and I have full screen movie on the projector and whatever I want on the monitor with full control.
I don't know about a different brand hardware.

If you have a dual-connection graphiccard you can connect both screens and run 2 desktops in windows. That way you can have one screen for your gps and the other to view movies.

Use the same solution for playing movies while using the computer at home.
