Hey,

Well guys I have a subaru STI and already have an alpine IVA D900 and mobile video for dvd's and such I am looking for a smaller screen to view the car pc on like to play mp3's and run engine software. I am going to mount it under the HVAC controls and remove the ashtray and cigarette lighter. Just wondering who has good size 5.6 inch screen or smaller and will I be able to see much on that size of screen. Thanks Michael and yes I did a search and didn't find much. Thanks again.

If you're not going to be running anything that requires text (ie GPS), then something that size will be Ok for displaying MediaEngine/MediaCar etc. They are designed for those type of screens.

With that size it will not be VGA, so to judge whether you are going to like the quality, hook up your computer to your standard TV and walk backwards until it looks about the same size that a 5.6" screen will in your car

Digitalww will be a good spot, cartft? Just go to google and type in "5.6 inch screen" or go to ebay and search there. There is a lot of places that sells them.
