Wake-up Lan connection

I wonder if someone may be able to help.

I am new to in car computers so please excuse my ignorance.

I have just purchased in MII 10000 board and an opus 90W power supply unit. I am looking to set up a wireless Lan connection to the car but I do not want to purchase a PCI card (As I am looking to use the PCI card for something else) I would like to use either a USB wireless connection or the RJ45 Lan connection to an ethernet wireless conection.

What I am wondering is it going to be possible to wake up the MII 1000 board using this type of connection (even if it means powering the wireless device from a source other than the opus) from hibernate or standby? Any ideas?

Check if your board support wake-on-lan, Im sure it does. Im not sure if you can wake up the M1000 through USB.

I have done this before using access point on a laptop. The USR access point drain too much current though.
