finalizing plans need some help deciding on witch route to go

desision #1

option 1 ) cram everything into my glove box
pro
convienet and close to where the display should go, can change cd's in route dont plan on doing that much but dvds woudl be nice
cons
may not fit and i lose my glove box

option 2) mount a case in my trunk
pros
easy to get at, 12v plug in trunk, less noise, easier access to sount interface ( vw thing dont ask)
cons
moer elaborate mount , running wires will be longer and i dont know how that wille effect the vga , and will reqire me to tap power in multible space's
************************************************** ****

desision #2 power

option 1) opus
pros
nice, auto switch on with car start and delaies shutdown neat
cons,
$$$$$, dont know how to wire it

option 2) regular atx psu with a inverter
pros
cheaper , i know how to install it , have a 12v in turnk
cons
sloppy, now nifty start or stop for ocmptuer , may blow fuses
************************************************** **
desison #3 display

option 1) in dash non motorized touch screen
pros
cool, more secure, clean
cons
expensive,

option 2) touch screen mounted on vent
pros
cheap
cons
may "tempt" people to try to enter my car with out permision forcing me to cut there hands off and shove them in there @#$#@$@#

option 3) non touch screen non vga indash
pros
cheap , clean , secure
cons
not touch screen so ill have to re think the whole input system
not as cool

option4) overhead ts or non ts
pro
everyone can see, more secure ( hard to see from standing angle)
cons
more wireing ,power, seems flimsy ,everyone can see
************************************************** ***

thanks for casting your votes AND OR alternatives to my options

im installing into my 02 Jetta so Im sort of in the sameboat as you.
(1) I opted the trunk because only downfall is Id have to run cables/extension (no biggie for me). I wouldn't advise tapping off the trunk 12v. Also the turnk is cooler then the interior of the car so win win situation. Anyway my glove box is tiny as hell I don't know about the passat one.
(2) definately a dc-dc psu, opus if anything.
(3) Im going to convert a lilliput into an indash housing from digitalww.com.
And touchscreen is almost necessary now.
(4) and I can't do overhead because I have a sunroof.
