2nd Battery

Am I correct in thinking a 2nd battery wired in parrallel to the OEM battery would be fine?

I had a friend who said it would fry my electrical system... but somehow I'm thinking it's like putting a more powerful PSU in your computer.

Nothing would change, I'd just have more power on tap later on.

Fine for the car and the stereo.

As in, if I were to simply add in a second battery, with a 0 guage cable from + to +, - to -, from the OEM battery to a newer Deep Cycle red top Optima, what would be the harm?

DO NOT DO THIS! Not only will you bugger up the batteries, but theres also a good chance of doing serious damage

Read this. If you want a second battery, do this: http://www.talkaudio.co.uk/vbb/showthread.php?t=54203
