Total N00B questions

I am really new to this so please dont flame if what I ask seem retarded. What would I need to have a complete in car PC setup in my car? I would also like to have internet in my car, do I need to sign up for a service or can I just use a USB WiFi card. I would like to have internet all the time but if its to expensive I would go the WiFi route. Any help would me greatly appreciated. Thanks.

seriously the answer to that question would be imposible to give you here, it depends on what goals you have for your system, your car, your budget and your knowalge of computers. Start with the sticky FAQ thread at the top of the newbies forum, it should give you a general idea of what is in store for you. Check out the finished projects forum and users websites to see what the installations look like, some are well documented from start to finish and will give you a good idea as well.

Wifi (Wardriveing) will work of course, and then there is cellular. Completely depends on you cell phone service as far as how you get charged and what kind of services are availible. Check out the wireless communications forum it should give you a good idea.
