dodgetimes thanks for the ultramon hook up it looks promising I like wht it can do. I am surprised I have never stumbled across that program before it would be real nice to use with my AIW 9600 with the KRAM drivers to allow it work with windows media center on my home pc but my second monitor is non functional due to drivers....(dont know if anyone out there has an AIW card and want the tv and everything else workin except second monitor use KRAM 1.0 drivers...they work like a charm they use a diff ati tv driver in it and also bypass the need for hyperthreading...I am running like a dream on a p4 2.6 512 ram DELL

back on topic NIN^^ i would love to no more about your software set up it sounds like we have the same somewhat goals

just a thought but, could i get my laptop setup to do the same thing, ie have one thing displayed on the laptop and another on the touchscreen plugged into the vga output? or even better, set it up so all the stuff shows through the vga output and the nav through the tv out so i can select using the source on my touchscreen?

Hey sorry i forgot about but

I got a adapter so i can use the carpc in the house and i Did a test on my MII6000E

I'm using the standard Onboard video for my dual screen

I set the VGA as screen 1 and Video out (composite) as screen 2

Then i set Mediacar on the first screen and had mp3 and d3 GPS going at the same time.

I then opened 3 winamp windows on the second monitor (the composite LCD) and had them all running and i didn't see ANY slowdown at all

And my board is a 600mhz Fanless Mini ITX

All stock to no addon video card or anything and it ran great

I even had usb speakers plugged in and had the 3 winamps output to them it was good

Also ultramon was the program sorry

hold on... NiN are you telling me I can get dual screen on the M10000 without having to buy a PCI video card? How did you set up the VGA and video out screens?

I didn't set itup i set video out on in bios and when windows loaded the driver it gave me the option of using VGA and Tv out as 2 montiors as 1 image or use them both as 2 monitrs and expand the destop over the 2 screens.

All the stuff loads up into screen 1 and u can drag it over to screen 2 so if you use ultramon you can have the apps set on screen 2 and all other apps automaticlly start on screen 1

I can take pics this setup if u want

I'm not sure if your M10000 will do it as this is a MII board but it can't hurt to try
