I'll work on getting some pictures up for you. I should be able to post them later tonight. The wires enter the interior right behind the fuse panel in the drivers footwell. Really hard to see, you have to pull off the panel and even still you'll need a flashlight and some flexibillity.

Ok, first shot at posting so many pictures, but here goes.

First thing, you want to pull off the panels that will be in the way. This includes the one around the steering wheel, the one above the footwell and the one over the fuse box. The only one with a screw is the first one. On the bottom left of the steering wheel panel, there is the only screw. Any, this is what you'll be looking at, minus the wires you see.

Next, to find the spot where the wires come through. I couldn't get a good shot of it from the inside, it's a really tough spot! But this will give you an idea of where the wires come from.

See the yellow part there? That's some sort of insulation. The hole is right behind where that stuff lays down. To give you a better idea of where this is, here's a shot farther away. That's the clutch pedal on the right.

Here's the start of the wires. You can see both the (+) and (-) wires entering the fender here.

Start removing the splash shield, this will be easier with the steering wheel as far counter-clockwise as it goes.

Pull it back a little bit and look up inside. You can see my wires in this shot right here.

This is what the grommet looked like. These can be seen inside the drivers door, but they were the same as what was inside the fender. I would suggest putting a hole in the grommet and running your wires through that so they aren't rubbing against the metal hole, like mine are. Stupid mistake, I know. I'm ordering another grommet to fix this.

There you are, hope these help. Feel free to ask anything.

I know people have used the double-DIN kit for the lower cubby. But this usually leaves out the buttons. Or, you can do what Nexson did here: http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/fabr...-_nexson_.html

Has fabricated a lcd screen using this lower dash attachment? http://www.autotoys.com/x/catalog/HO...WER_p_694.html
I know that the one Nexson used is different. The one I have has a bit of an angle on it and I was just wondering what's the best way of going about that?

You said you already have that one? Well, to start cut out a hole about the size of your LCD. Then what many people do is "glue" the front bezel from your monitor to the hole. (I quoted "glue" because I want to make it clear that you don't use Elmer's) You decide whether you want the bezel behind the hole so it's slightly recessed or if you cut the hole large enough so that the bezel fits inside. Then go from there.

If you're talking about the small cubby, then I'm pretty sure the answer is yes.

need some tips on how to mount my computer in the trunk. I have a Apex MI-100 case http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811154084I'm not really sure how to mount it in my trunk to keep it from sliding around. Also another thing I have a M2-atx power supply, any suggestions on how to mount it in the case? Thanks a lot.

Acemaster,

I mounted my case on the outside wall (toward the back) using a piece of mdf covered in black cloth. On that mdf I have two brackets that fits a second piece of mdf. I have my case mounted on the 2nd piece. This way I can slide the computer in and out easily. Look at my worklog to see a pic -- it's not the prettiest, but it's functional.

Personally, mine's under the drivers seat. My case (bought from mo-co-so) fits underneath there very well, and makes for easy wiring. I've heard many reason why not to put the PC under a seat though, and a few reasons why it's better. Anyway, if I was to do a trunk install, I'd bolt it to the inside of the rear seat. Makes it accessible while keeping it hidden.
