I just purchased a 04 Accord EX with dual climate controls. I have this radio. I see the pics on the first post, but no explanation is give how they installed it without tempering with the climate controls. Any links to explanations or videos will be greatly appreciated.

I believe the Metra dash kit includes adapters for dual climate control, although you loose the dual climate function. It basically downgrades it to standard climate control.

Edit: check this page for more info.

Sorry, after I looked more it seems I was wrong. The Metra kit does not work for dual zone climate.

I've been looking for through the thread and I know I saw it somewhere but I can't seem to find it again. I'm looking for instructions on how to run wires up the middle of the car. Specifically how to remove the back seats and pull the wire through the carpet and remove the center console, etc... If anyone can point to the right post I would appreciate it. Thanks.

to remove the backseat,
find 2 hook on either side of the seat, pull it and the seat will pop.

you should buy honda service manual, it tells you everything you want to know.

need help please !

Ive been researching this for awhile now and never seem to find an answer for it. I was always curious instead of buying the stereo kits for the 03 accord to put in a aftermarket radio, couldnt I just purchase the front faceplate of the unit with the navi, and put in my own aftermarket double din unit ?? Has anyone ever tried this or is it even possible. I like the look of the stock radio but really need to put in a double din and I dont want to put it in the cubby hole.

Here's what I would do if I were you: http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/fabr...rd-7-mold.html

This way, you could buy the cheaper stock radio and hack that up. It'll give you the look you want.

hi guys, I'm having some issues with my power supply. Where did you guys get the ignition signal from and how did you wire it? Pictures would be great. I'm having a problem when I turn off my car the m2-atx does a hard power off instead of shutting down. This is my second board and I tested it on the bench. So I think it's where I wired my ignition wire. Thanks for the help!

I am using the cig. lighter for the ign.

did you wired the power to the ignition?
The ignition wires have nothing to do with your m2 doing hard shut off. Unless the m2 is drawing power from the ignition

Sounds to me like you've got the positive and the ign wires backwards on the M2. Give that a double check.

03 honda feedback problem

Ha all new to this forum site but no one else seem to be able to help me. I have been putting in car stereos forever now, but in my 2003 honda accord coupe i have a really bad feedback issue. I even went so far as to run my ground wire all the way up to the battery. Im running an alpine mrv 1001 to one 1500 watt type R, My head unit is an iva d300. but wondering if anyone had a problem like this or if someone can give a good spot to hook up the ground? thanks
