Right now i have a MP3 cd player in there, and Honda took the front cover off cause i guess it cant shut. Im hoping the chassis will be fit for a pc, but unlikely.
Also im a CAD guy with data skills and access to SLA machines.
You can use your existing navigation monitor for your car pc in the way you are asking but it depends on your cars make and model. The Car2pc adapter does not work with the Accords navigation so check and see if you can have both the car2pc adapter and video interface working together on the navigation system you have. You won't have touchscreen though.

These devices interfaces with the OEM display and lets you switch inputs on it. It only takes in composite video inputs however so you will need a video card that has composite out (dunno if those exist) or one with a S-video out and then use a S-video to composite converter.
The quality will be no where near what you get with a VGA input to an LCD monitor, but it is possible. I can't say if the quality is
acceptable since that depends on what you will be displaying and what frontend software configuration you will be using. I'm sure that some software mode can be done to a frontend that will give it enlarged thinner fonts which will be easier to read from a lower resolution display setup. I think Car2PC.com has a simply frontend browser that can be used in these cases but I'm not sure.
