I don't have a carpc yet and when I do it will be a Mac, BUT I do however dual boot Windows XP Pro SP2 and Fedora Core 3 on my machine at home. It can be done very easily just install Windows first, get it running the way you like. Install Linux by booting the CD and make sure you setup a boot loader such as GRUB or LILO.

Also I think this should be in the Linux forum.

You can make any system dualboot (as long as you can install a bootloader on it of course). If you are building the pc, then yes, you can make it dual boot. The practicality of doing this for a carpc may be arguable.

Good point. In that light I would suggest you have Windows (or your most comfortable operating system) as the default boot and set it to say 3 seconds before it loads so that you don't have to worry about long boot times and you'll always go to your primary one first and can always choose if you really want to run the other if the situation is correct.

as everyone else said it can/has been done, but if your not planing to have a keyboard handy when you turn the key, it might prove to be useless, lilo nor grub supports touchscreen

Are you serious.. I usually don't like to roast people's choices. However, Windows ME has got to be one of the worst operating system versions ever released (in the realm of all MS and non-MS OSes)
