Noob - How to get into BIOS?
Hi, I bought a Epia M-1000 MB a long time ago and put it in my closet. I got it back out to use it again and I cannot get into the bios. I've tried all the F1-12 functions and the escape key to get into the bios with no luck.
What button and when should I hit it to enter the bios?!
Thanks for your help. By the way, I've already searched and couldn't find anything so please don't beat me up .
Mike

Try putting a piece of salami into your CD drive - that's worked for me on occasion.
Balogna will also work, but it'll gum up your pfetzer valves and johnson flanges.

Well, if he was, then I believe that its justified.
Sure, this is the "newbie" forum, but this is a proto-newbie question at best. If one can't figure out how to get into one's computer's BIOS setup, then one should RTFM.

Getting into the BIOS is simple stuff - Either F1, F2 or Delete most the time ... failing that, search google for the Manual for the EPIA ... its just lazy asking this sort of question here thats all.
In my opinion if you can't do something as simple as accessing the BIOS you shouldn't really be doing a CarPC.

I was under the impression that he didnt have the manual. regardless; because he didn't know doesn't make him an idiot. I just can't understand why people feel the need to insult others so much (unprovoked).

Dude that's pretty lazy he waited 12 minutes for a post to tell him.
With a 12 second effort to parts of his post "Epia key enter the bios" (note: no change of case) the second hit says in its description "Hit <Del> key to enter bios".
Thus he's an idiot, for now, but with hanging around these boards for a few months then hopefully he'll graduate to a newb.

That is more a giving him the benefit of the doubt! He could be a complete and utter retard for all you know but then again he could be a doctor in astophysics. Eitherway, it was a bit of a silly thing to ask but at the end of the day, if anyone does a google on "epia bios" they will now find the answer on MP3car.com
Scott, as for the ******* comment - that was a bit harsh don't you think?
