Very NOOB question...Help Me..

Well, trying to install a set of carputer and currently already have Kenwood head unit with a touch screen monitor. Is it possible to hook up the carputer into that head units? If yes, how? anyone have some information or DIY?

TIA too all...

Sorry if this question a lil bit to NOOB.

Yes, but it will look like **** because of the composite interface. The touchscreen won't work with a PC.

It can't hurt to try it and see how it looks. But 0l33l is right, it will probably look really crappy and hard to read.

You can prolly sell that touchscreen headunit on ebay and easialy fund a simple carputer methinks....but then I'm new.

Looks like your gonna have a double monitor setup.

This could definitely be good thing(despite $$). If you can find a way to integrate the screen to look good then its like the coolness factor x 2.

If you could afford the kenwood you can afford a new screen. Keep it as a second screen connected to the composite out on your computer. If you set it up correctly you can use the new screen as a control and have the kenwood play the video/visualization.
