copyright protection

why is it that when i try to watch a dvd on my computer in tvout mode i get a copyright protection error? and is there any way to get around this without having to buy a vga monitor?

InterVideo WinDVD Platinum and power dvd 6
power dvd and windows media gives me an error about the copyright portection
windvd just geos black after the menu but you can hear it.

ok let me check throught my files i think i havea macrovision fix for power dvd that shoudl fix the problem

ok just got done checking the files i have are for macrovison removal for copying i can send you the file if you want to try it. question do you have any videocd or avi you could try other than a dvd in powerdvd
also what are your windows video settings i just treyed a dvd in a blank windows install nothing but xp sp1 and powerdvd and it outputed find but i am using a nvidia card also do you have hardware alleleration enabled if so have you tryed it with it turned off

ok it is emailing now is about 11MB. If you try a avi file does it output to the tv out or does it gi9ve a black screen?

that is strange...... I have same Mobo and I use winDVD with TV-out without any problem.

thats if i installed it right i cant hardly see it and it is in german
are you sure you sent me the right file because it said something about nero rom
