Please read naked girls and Looking for good info on commell P4 itx and via boards.

Hello all.
I am new to the ITX world but not new to the computer world.

I am wondering if anyone has any comments on the commell pentium 4 with the 478 slot. Is there anything else out there that is comparable?

Does via have a board that is comparable to commell P4

Does anyone know of any good automotive cases with external mounting tabs and will fit the commell board?

The only reason I am hitting this site up is because out of 30 of my distributors only two have access to ITX and they are via boards.

Any suggestions on power supplies, cases, boards, and software will be appreciated.

Thanks for your help carputer freeks!

if you want a nioce ITX P4 you can't do much worse than the ones at the mp3car store shop. they have ATI chipsets so nice graphics and have LVDS and independant VGA out. But if you get one I will hate you!

Nice thread title btw (but i guessed what you were doing).

The one case that will perfectly fit your needs is your own build. Cases normally aren't too fancy. Most are polycarbon or MDF, built to custom fit the computer.

I like the Amp case, looks good, and clean. I build my cases, I just find them eaiser to use. I can get exactly what I want, and no extra frills that I dont need.
