Parts list for incar computer...missing anything?

Power: Automotive 90W DC-DC Power Supply for mini-ITX - OPUS
Computer:
mini-ITX as built

- Software: - WinXP (my own copy not purchased)
- Power Supply: 60 Watt CAR Power (12V) and AC Adapter (110V)
- Operating System: -
- Motherboard: EPIA M10000 1GHz
- Monitor: Xenarc 700TSV 7" TFT LCD Display VGA Touchscreen - Black
- Memory: 256MB Ultra Low Profile PC2100 RAM
- Hard Disk: 2.5" 40GB Samsung 5400rpm
- Color: Black
- CD / DVD Drive: TEAC DW-224E-93 Slimline CD-RW / DVD Combo

What might I be missing if anything? Since this is going to replace my car stereo obviously, is there anything additional needed to run my stock speakers?

Thanks.

You'll need an amp to power the speakers, unless your car already has one.

Thanks.

You only need one or the other.
If you get the Opus, don't get the other one.
If you get the other one, just search for Carnetic and add a regulator from Carnetic. This combination = Opus PSU (except capacity).
for music, you need an amplifier to power the speaker or the HU

And when you get an amp your stock speakers will most likely sound like crap since they aren't made to be amped so you should probably plan on replacing the speakers too.
Other then that, you will need all the cables to connect everything.

On a side note, how did he get away with a link to logicsupply?? I thought those were blocked...

FM/TV tuner
USB Hub
GPS
WiFi Card?
Audio card upgrade?

Upgrading the RAM to 512 is an interesting point...it certainly helps out desktops, but is it that much better for say an nLited system? Someone, somewhere commented on the increased RAM causing increased delay resuming from hibernate also...not sure how big of an effect that is. Just a thought.

Maybe a mini keyboard and trackmouse. Sometimes its just easier than doing it all off the screen.

Make sure you are getting the latest and greatest. The OPUS 90 watt was discontinued months ago. The new OPUS case has a 120 watt power supply.
