M1-ATX amp. remote question.

Maybe it's a little late, or maybe I'm just clueless, but why are there two pins for the amp remote on the M1? Already tried the searching thing and came up dry, just figured I'd ask before I did something dumb.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks, exactly what I was looking for... I would have poked around and experimented with it myself, but I lack a multimeter and the nearest one is about 40 miles out of my way (our local Radio Shack ran out)
